Artistic vision
As an artist, I get my inspiration from many different things, but travel is an endless source of creativity for me. I have been fortunate to travel to different parts of the world. Each of these trips has inspired and influenced me in its own way. My trip to the Amazon left a deep impression on me. The vibrant nature, the fauna and the vastness of the rainforest invigorated my senses and stimulated my creativity. The rich colors of the tropical plants and animals, the play of light and shadow, the rustling of the trees in the wind - all of this has had a lasting influence on my artistic work. I have found that nature can be an endless source of inspiration and I try to bring its beauty to my art.
I was also fascinated by India with its culture and history. The colors, smells and sounds of the country continuously inspire me. I have tried to incorporate the shapes and patterns of Indian art and architecture into my art. The beauty and elegance of Indian designs inspired me to try new techniques and styles. Artists who inspire me are Coleen Atwood, Tim Burton, Aykut AydoÄŸdu, Marcel van Luit and Karen Cantuq.
I prefer to use acrylics and often incorporate gold and action painting to add texture and depth to my work. Although I digitize illustrations and enjoy working with Adobe Illustrator, I find that drawing by hand has a unique effect that makes my work distinctive.
My motivation for my work comes from meditation and creating fantastic worlds. I hope that my art inspires people to explore their own imagination and creativity and to discover new worlds.
